Opportunity | Monumental Sports Sales Workshop (Washington Wizards | January 20th, 2022
Hope all is well! I wanted to reach out as we will be hosting our annual Monumental Sports Sales Workshop this January, and I think this event would be great for fellow Miami students to attend who would be interested in pursuing a career in sport sales! Please see below for more information regarding the event, and please feel free to share this information with any students that may be interested in attending.
The Monumental Sport Sales Workshop will be on Thursday, January 20th at Capital One Arena here in D.C.
Our Monumental Sport Sales Workshop will include:
· A full day of hands-on sales training with some of the best leaders in the industry.
o Training will be entirely focused on the sales process and broken up into three sessions.
o We highly encourage participation as this will get the students noticed by the hiring managers in the room.
· Network with hiring managers for Inside Sales Programs across multiple professional teams as well as fellow sport sales candidates.
o Currently the list of professional teams in attendance are as follows, but not limited to: Monumental Sports & Entertainment (Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals, Washington Mystics, and Capital City Go-Go), Washington Nationals, Washington Football Team, DC United, San Jose Sharks, Philadelphia 76ers, The Aspire Group, and the list is continuing to grow every day.
· Opportunities to interview for entry level sport sales positions.
o Prior to the event, students will receive a list of the teams in attendance and the contact information for the hiring manager so that they can reach out to the teams they are interested in possibly interviewing with.
· The best part is this event is entirely FREE for any college student, all we ask is that they RSVP at the link below.

My name is Ryan Haynes, and I work in the Ticketing Department at the Cincinnati Reds. We are currently searching for the best and brightest students to fill our 2022 internship program. We have both office and gameday positions available, and both are available through the same application process. I hope this email finds you well. This is Alex of Camp Caribou, an overnight summer camp in Winslow, Maine. We offer instruction in a wide variety of land and water sports to boys aged 7-15. We are currently seeking athletic coaches for the upcoming summer. I was curious if any of your sports management students are looking for a summer job / internship. The dates run from June 14th to August 13th, 2022. The salary range is $2700 to $3500 for the summer season. All food, lodging, and laundry is covered; and all travel expenses are reimbursed.
